Matchbook Picks FIRST for Brazil Sportsbook Launch

Matchbook has launched its Brazilian-facing platform, matchbook.bet.br, in partnership with FIRST – Best in Sports, marking a significant step in its expansion into regulated and high-growth igaming markets. The collaboration combines Matchbook’s experience in betting exchange and fixed-odds wagering with FIRST’s sportsbook technology to deliver a locally tailored product for Brazil.

Under the agreement, FIRST provides Tier-1 sportsbook infrastructure designed to support scalable performance, localisation and operational reliability. The technology underpins Matchbook’s new site, which has been built to reflect Brazilian users’ expectations around market depth, user experience and access to local and international sports within a regulated igaming framework.

Brazil continues to emerge as a strategically important jurisdiction for global sports betting and igaming, and the joint move by Matchbook and FIRST signals a long-term commitment to operating in line with local regulation and integrity standards. The launch also contributes to FIRST’s growing footprint in Latin America, where it supplies modular sportsbook solutions, real-time localisation tools and performance-focused systems for regulated operators.

The partnership illustrates how international betting and igaming brands are approaching complex markets such as Brazil by pairing global expertise with localised execution. As Brazil’s sports betting and igaming landscape develops, similar collaborations are expected to play a prominent role in shaping operational standards and product delivery across the sector.

“The joint presence of Matchbook and FIRST on matchbook.bet.br represents a significant milestone for the Brazilian market,” said a representative from A2FBR, who supported the project locally. Both brands are globally recognised for their technical excellence, operational integrity and long-term commitment to regulated environments. Our role was to ensure that this collaboration translated into a seamless, high-quality experience tailored to Brazilian players,” commented Adriano Rodrigues.

“Working with Matchbook on their Brazilian launch demonstrates what can be achieved when strong technology and a clear product vision come together. Brazil is a highly competitive and sophisticated market, and this project reflects our focus on delivering sportsbook solutions that are built for scale, compliance and long-term growth,” added Tom Light, CEO at FIRST-Best in Sports.
