Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI) has extended its agreement with Sports Information Services (SIS) for an additional three years, continuing a longstanding partnership that will now run through to 2028. The extension ensures that SIS will remain the exclusive distributor of live greyhound content from GRI to global igaming operators.
Under the renewed terms, SIS will broadcast over 500 races per month from 10 Irish tracks, with further venues expected to be announced. High-profile events including the Irish Derby, Kirby Memorial, and Winter Racing Festival are part of the ongoing coverage. Additional feature races such as the Cambridgeshire Open 750, Fair Warrior 400, and Kingdom Derby are among the fixtures still to be delivered this year.
The agreement is positioned to support SIS’s broader 24/7 live betting service, which delivers more than 24,000 greyhound races annually. The package includes live-streamed pictures, data, graphics with betting triggers, and a full suite of pricing and market options aimed at providing end-to-end betting solutions for operators.
This latest renewal strengthens SIS’s greyhound racing portfolio and reinforces its presence in the global igaming and betting ecosystem.
Paul Witten, EMEA Managing Director at SIS, said: “We are delighted to continue building on our strong partnership with GRI, broadcasting over 500 races per month from 10 tracks, with a series of new venues to follow.
“Greyhound racing from Ireland has in recent years established itself as a core part of the greyhound coverage for retail and online operators, both in the UK and international markets, and our coverage showcases the very best the nation has to offer.”
Tim Lucey, CEO at GRI, said: “Our partnership with SIS has been instrumental in consistently delivering world-class exposure for Irish greyhound racing and we are extremely pleased to secure extended collaboration for the next three years.
“The new agreement underlines our commitment to showcase the best of our sport whilst providing fans with unparalleled access to major events. It pays testament to the quality of our tracks, athletes, and the sport as a whole.”
