Allwyn AG, a prominent lottery operator in Europe, has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of the Camelot Lottery Solutions group of companies, formerly owned by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board.
With the transaction now closed, the Camelot LS Group will operate as wholly owned subsidiaries of Allwyn.
The acquisition will not result in any significant changes to the Camelot LS Group’s leadership team, and the company will continue to enhance the performance of the lotteries it supports.
Camelot Lottery Solutions operates the Illinois Lottery through its subsidiary, Camelot Illinois LLC, under a private management agreement.
